December 15, 2011: EGLINTON 2020: Information and Organizational Meeting

An invitation to community leaders and stakeholders interested in participating in planning and shaping EglInton Avenue above ground as under ground work begins on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT. City councillors, MPPs and residents are invited to a discussion about shaping Eglinton Avenue in a sustainable, neighbourhood and business friendly way for pedestrians, motorists, cyclists and people of all ages.

Location: Forest Hill United Church, 2 Wembley Road.

November 7, 2011: Midtown Plan

ARECA, the Avenue Road Eglinton Community Association presents:

Introducing a New Approach to Local Planning that is Community Based - The Midtown Plan

Our speaker, Mr. Terry Mills, will make this special presentation and answer questions. Terry is a Planner with extensive experience in working with communities in the Yonge Eglinton area. Based on these experiences and with community input, Terry has prepared this initial draft of a MIDTOWN PLAN.

The presentation will focus on the Premium Properties application for 36-44 Eglinton Ave. West. Premium is part of a 200-metre length of Eglinton Ave extending from Duplex to Holly Street to be transformed over the next decade - including both sides of Eglinton and the LRT under the street.
